Wimsey's diverse background gives her a unique perspective on living life to the fullest with a minimum of pain. For more than 35 years, Wimsey has provided manual therapy services with a gentle, respectful touch that reflects her belief in providing extraordinary patient care.
Having graduated from three bodywork schools and completed thousands of hours of professional continuing education classes, Wimsey is committed to ongoing professional development as part of her dedication to helping people recover from injuries and chronic pain. She also developed and teaches her popular Strain/CounterStrain and Positional Release and Treating the Pelvis with Muscle Energy classes for advanced licensed massage therapists and physical therapists.
Wimsey has a strong commitment to giving back to her community and her profession: she has been a board member of several nonprofit organizations and has volunteered for the Multiple Sclerosis Association and the Northwest Trager® Association for many years. She is the founding team manager for the Seattle Slam quad rugby team, founding president of the board of the Seattle Wheelchair Rugby Association, and former vice president of the US Quad Rugby Association. She has also served on the board of the Northwest Trager® Association.
